Introduction

This Privacy Statement sets out the data practices of promanapeople.com ("Promana People" or "Promana"). Promana People is owned and operated by Technologies Behind Coaches Ltd, a Company registered in New Zealand (NZBN 9429048977180).

Promana People offers behavioural assessments, website hosting and associated tools, a professional directory, courses, scheduling tools, billing tools, and, interpersonal and enterprise networking services.

Our data and privacy baseline

Promana People is subject to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) set out in that Act. These principles govern how we collect, store, use, disclose and otherwise handle personal information. In addition, we design and operate our services to meet the requirements of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), even though we are not established in the European Union.

Our data principles

  • You can request that we erase your personal information, subject to any legal or operational requirements that require us to retain it.
  • You can request a copy of your personal information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • We collect and retain only the personal information we need to provide and improve the service.
  • Where behavioural assessment data is about you and was initiated by you, you control who else may access the personally identifiable results.
  • We retain ownership of anonymised and aggregated versions of assessment results. These cannot be used to identify you.

Data collected by Promana People

JJoining

When you join Promana People we collect your first name, last name, email address, and your acceptance of our terms. We store this information securely using industry-standard practices in reputable cloud environments.

Personal use

When you complete an assessment we store:

  • the responses you provide during the assessment
  • your IP address for the duration of the assessment (used only to confirm approximate geo-location for later anonymised statistical purposes)
  • the assessment results in anonymised form
  • the link between you and those anonymised results

You control whether that link remains in place. If you no longer wish to be associated with your assessment results, you can request that we remove the link. Once the link is removed, the results remain available only in anonymised form.

If a third party invites you to complete an assessment about yourself, you also control whether the link between you and that third party remains active. You may request that we sever that link at any time. After severance, the third party retains access only to the anonymised version of the results.

To fully remove Promana People’s ability to associate you with your assessment data, you must close your account. We need the link to remain while your account is active so we can provide the service to you.

Teams and organisations

When you create a team and invite colleagues:

  • You determine who is invited and what team-related information is managed.
  • Promana People processes the invitation and related account data on your behalf during the invitation stage.
  • The person receiving the invitation decides whether to accept it.

Once an invitee accepts and joins, they control whether any link between their assessment results and your team remains active. You continue to manage the other team administration functions. Promana People processes the relevant data to support those functions.

Access and correction

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. To make either request, please contact us at support@promanapeople.com.
