Team Focus report - Kim Lee
About this report
With this Team Focus assessment, we present insights into Kim’s utilisation of the human, task and time-based resources and processes important for delivering productive outcomes.
We present an initial group of factors that focuses on the resource and process inputs that promote optimal team work, for example via Task Resources and Task Processes. A second group deals with the qualitative and quantitative assessment of performance and productivity behaviours. Two final factors examine the constraints and limits placed on teams, and any apparent wastage.
As with all our team-related assessments, not even Kim is likely to have the breadth of behaviours in the strength needed to cover every input. The clearest picture comes into focus only when all team members are viewed together.
Results for Kim Lee
-
Kim indicates that they have some confidence that they have the material and Task Resources they need to play a part, and they indicate that they have an adequate level of competent support. They have (somewhat imperfect) access to much of the information and other inputs he needs, but he knows his own field.
-
They use visible means of scheduling and managing Time Resources, fitting in with others. Following the timetable at a steady pace, Kim keeps a reasonably close eye on how time is used.
-
Kim enjoys applying their personal Human Resources and talents to the task. They get enjoyment from improving their knowledge, their skills and their performance. They also get some satisfaction from the parts they play and from feeling that they make a valued contribution.
-
With their moderately strong inclination to utilise the available inputs, Kim is likely to employ the necessary Task Processes to make their Task Resources productive. They follow standard formats and uses routine practices to get results.
-
They plan the use of time carefully, intent on accurately forecasting what lies ahead and what can be done. Kim’s focused approach to the use of Time Processes means that they’re very comfortable basing their priorities on importance, urgency and feasibility, and in coordinating their activities closely with others.
-
Kim has some affinity for Human Processes, being someone who cooperates with others and gives support to the team. They make decisions that suit the prevailing conditions, and they take others’ viewpoints into account, which in turn fosters understanding and openness.
-
Turning now to the first of their four performance and productivity indicators. Kim is reasonably careful about Output Quality, from the time of choosing inputs, through preparation and production, to finished goods or services. They’re able to remain somewhat mindful about defects as they work.
-
Kim usually delivers the Output Quantity expected, and to the required specifications. They believe that by and large, they sustain delivery at the required level, ensuring that the goods or services they produce are up to the standards set.
-
Output Cost may occasionally enter Kim’s thoughts, especially if they’ve either control over, or responsibility for how consumption is handled or expenses are met. If required by the situation at hand, they are able to operate cost-consciously and to monitor resource utilisation.
-
Kim makes plans that take into account the Output Time they have available. They usually structure activities for the best outcomes, and they’re able to balance time and tasks. They often fixe issues as they arise, and is able to make allowances for the unexpected.
-
They are able to overcome their Constraints to make the most of scarce resources. Adapting to how things are done, Kim stays largely within set boundaries. Despite thier restrictions, they do what can be done.
-
This final factor reveals that Kim has some tolerance of delays, holdups and interruptions. If necessary, they’re prepared to wait these out before they continue, and they may be very accepting of (or indifferent to) any Wastage of materials and other resources. However, should the circumstances require it, they will put effort and energy into avoiding waste.
